Experienced Players

WHAT WE TEACH

GUITARS

Our guitar classes focus on building a strong musical foundation, covering essential elements such as song study, music theory, ear training, technical proficiency, and improvisation. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, our structured approach helps develop well-rounded musicianship while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable.

PIANOS

Our piano lessons cater to beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. Beginners will build a strong foundation in technique, music reading, and expression. Intermediate players will refine their skills, expand their repertoire, and enhance musicality. Advanced students will focus on mastering complex pieces, interpretation, and performance. VOCALS

Our voice lessons help students develop proper vocal technique, breath control, and confidence in their singing. Beginners will build a strong foundation in pitch, tone, and articulation, while intermediate and advanced students will refine their range, expression, and performance skills. With personalized instruction, we help singers of all levels unlock their full vocal potential.

VIOLIN

The violin is a beautiful and expressive instrument that requires patience, practice, and dedication. Since opening our doors in Richmond Hill in 2018, we’ve helped children, teens, and adults discover a love for music through engaging private lessons, exciting group programs, recitals, and performance opportunities.

The classroom has no windows, which makes the space feel closed-in and uncomfortable over time. While the teachers themselves are talented, the overall experience is impacted by how the academy is run. Lessons are scheduled back-to-back with virtually no transition time, resulting in a crowded, rushed atmosphere. The room often feels stuffy, with little opportunity to refresh the space between students. Body odours lingers from the lesson before. The service is also quite inflexible. Makeup lessons must be scheduled within a week, which can be challenging for families—especially those with younger children who may get sick more frequently or have travel commitments. Overall, the academy feels less like a place focused on nurturing musical talent and more like a high-throughput operation aimed at maximizing lesson volume. I would not recommend this academy. In contrast, the nail salon below appears to offer a more welcoming environment.

Although unfortunately I live in Guelph for University, it was a pleasure teaching at the academy when I was home. 100% recommended for those looking for more depth into music more seriously, or for those who are just getting to start playing an instrument  or do it for fun.

Adela, the vocal teacher, has also been very supportive and open to our attempts at “finding our voice” and building more confidence in this new vocal experience. As seniors, we are enjoying the opportunity to pursue this newly found interest, and Max and Adela have provided us with the support and guidance needed for this endeavour.
